The Payroll Administrator is responsible for managing Hogarth, Americas payroll.



  • Manages the processing of semi-monthly, multi-state payroll
  • Pulls timesheet information from an automated system (Job Charge) and ensures manager approvals are in place
  • Maintains Freelance and 1099 employee schedules for cost and budget analysis
  • Works with HR to deliver reports required for benefits compliance
  • Assists Finance Department with SOX compliance audits and communications
  • Reconciles ADP data entry and payroll reports for the Canadian office
  • Supports Controller, CFO and HR on as-needed basis with ad hoc projects
  • Provides journal entries related to semi-monthly payroll
  • Creates variance analysis to compare changes in payroll & headcount by pay period
  • Provides month-end head count schedules
  • Maintains records of recharges to other offices and provides corresponding journal entries on a monthly basis


Job requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience administering payroll
  • Strong understanding of ADP EV5
  • Good organizational and client relationship skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables)
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment
