As a Digital Project Manager/Producer at Hogarth, working on our embedded client team in Chicago, IL, you will acutely understand the account and client process to produce innovative MARCOM, branding and digital product experiences. Candidates for this position must have a strong track record of delivery across interactive channels and platforms; as well as experience working in a digital design group, digital marketing consultancy or digital advertising agency. This role will require close collaboration - from concept, development and launch - with client, creative, development and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity and change, able to focus on the smallest detail as well as drive a team to project completion, keeping the big picture in sight.


The Digital Project Manage/Producer must be able to pioneer the workflow and development between media and creative agencies, while maintaining the production setup at the core. Working closely with the digital teams internally, as well as ensuring all 3rd parties are aligned on the scopes of work, roles & responsibilities, test plans/road maps, timelines, project risks and the end goal.


This role is located onsite with our embedded team in downtown Chicago, IL.


  • Structure and scope complex digital and interactive projects such as websites, direct mail, iOS apps. 
  • Oversee the delivery and execution process, ensuring and facilitating effective team communication and collaboration. Work with cross-functional teams to accommodate rapid change and deliver work under tight deadlines. 
  • Experience working with remote teams, both offshore and offsite
  • Use project management methodologies, including creation of relevant documentation. 
  • Manage project financials to track status against budget and scope; provide detailed weekly reports, working with team Integrated production manager, account leads, agency finance department and client 
  • Interact with clients daily, as well as set up and attend client meetings as needed 
  • Use internal software and systems to keep track of people, project status and progress 
  • Ensure a collaborative ‘One Team’ approach comprising both client and internal team members 
  • Actively participate in the overall effectiveness and constant innovation of the digital studio by attending scrums and team meetings, proactively growing and developing personal skills required for the role.



DCO / Programmatic

  • Have a strong understanding of Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) within the dynamic templates to balance creative strategy/ideas and media requirements to be able to recalibrate in real time against predefined objectives.
  • Able to communicate intelligently and effectively with Creative, Technical, Account Management and Senior Leaders. As such, must have good written and verbal communication skills as well experience of campaign project deliveries.
  • Experienced delivering digital display campaigns (HTML5, Dynamic, served programmatically with DCO management)
  • A strong understanding of programmatic best practices
  • Being about to bridge the gap between media and creative with delivery being the core of what needs to be done
  • Ability to recalibrate in real time and be mindful of the impact on KPIs, CPA etc, from a media point of view
  • A strong understanding of how programmatic display affects other channels (PPC, Social & affiliates)
  • Manage and optimise internal and 3rd party workflows
  • Be an internal source of expertise in the DCO / programmatic field and respond swiftly and concisely to any questions or queries

  • Strong knowledge of account and project management principles, methods and techniques, with comfort in a technical environment 
  • Ability to inspire, support and understand the interplay between people, processes and systems.
  • Sharp attention to detail and a drive for perfection 
  • 5+ years of experience managing interactive projects across local, remote and offshore teams, optimally within an agency environment 
  • Required to be onsite in downtown Chicago working alongside embedded team or at WPP Campus, as needed
  • Enjoys working as part of a team with the ability to adapt in support on the greater / common good.

  • Communications Management: The ability to link people (including team members and stakeholders), ideas, and information throughout a project life cycle
  • Risk Management: The ability to identify, analyse, and properly respond to project risks (opportunities and threats)
  • Client Servicing: The ability to manage client needs through the whole of a project lifecycle
  • Stress Management: The ability to remain calm and keep a reassuring presence in pressurized situations
  • Can Do Attitude:  A positive 'can do' solution focused mentality
  • Organization: The ability to juggle a varied workload and to prioritize ones time effectively
  • 5+ Years Project Management Experience
  • Experience of working in (preferably large) digital agencies on large global accounts
  • Demonstrable experience in managing the production and distribution of digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong knowledge of Ad Platforms (Experience with DoubleClick, Sizmek, Flashtalking) and Execution Lists/Media Plans
  • Passion for and understanding of internet technologies is as must
  • Test Management & Execution – Understanding of QA practices
