    We are seeking a number of Mechanical Artists to join us at an exciting time for Hogarth Worldwide. As a Mechanical Artist you will be working on mechanicals for our client to be viewed by the world. On a daily basis, you'll be working in a fast-paced, fun environment, producing print ready mechanicals. This is a role for a collaborative individual who is highly organized, extremely detail oriented, and capable of working with high expectations within flexible and demanding deadlines.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Works with Creative Design and other Production Artists within the studio to implement and refine content across a range of mechanical sizes and languages
    • Appreciation, adherence and enforcement of Hogarth key policies
    • Communicate with all stakeholders articulately, sharing and documenting any issues or knowledge to ensure consistency
    • Complete relevant checklists for all tasks that are assigned to you (if applicable)
    • Creates and updates mechanical templates with new specifications
    • Creates design adaptations at different aspect ratios and scales
    • Applies creative content, using brand standards, to multiple deliverables
    • Creates additional layouts with Creative direction
    • Manage a high volume workload, including foreign language versions
    • Create image comps for placement for design or production direction
    • Create static web banners, web pages and digital email marketing

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience      
    • Ideally possess the equivalent qualification e.g. BA (Hons) Print Media/ Graphic Design
    • You ideally will have a prepress background
    • Competent in key Creative Suite programs to an intermediate level
    • Be proactive in keeping skills up-to-date and drive self-improvement
    • Prioritization, time management and attention to detail
    • Strong iterpersonal skills
    • Expert level in the following design tools: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop 
    • Clear understanding of scale and proportion relating to multiple size iterations
    • Comfortable working in a high pressure studio environment
