  • Overview

    Our client is a tech giant with over 4,500 merchandising fixtures across the EMEA region. We are recruiting for a Project Manager to sit within the Print & Distribution team, responsible for maintaining all of the printed marketing materials in these locations. Reporting into the Senior Project Manager / Team Leader, the primary responsibility of this role will be to help manage new store openings for our client’s partners. Tasks may include;

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Ordering merchandising elements required for all new store openings across EMEA, managing each project through to delivery coordinating with the client’s installation teams where required
    • Maintaining a workflow tracker and finance tracker in excel consolidating info from multiple sources, reporting to the client daily & weekly
    • Monitoring vendor timings per project, ensuring they’re following SLAs
    • Stock maintenance across all vendors, ensuring sufficient stock availability and arranging for destruction of obsolete stock to ensure storage costs kept to a minimum
    • Attending regular status meetings with the client
    • Creation of monthly / quarterly hindsight reports for the Senior Project Manager (outlining what worked well / what could be improved) across internal, client and vendor processes
    • Continually reviewing internal processes with the Senior Project Manager, striving to save time and costs without sacrificing quality
    • Supporting the Senior Project Manager with adhoc tasks where required
    • Ensuring any issues / concerns are immediately flagged to the Senior Project Manager (including any proposed solutions) to ensure swift resolution and avoid further escalation

    Qualifications

    • Strong understanding of Excel – must be confident with creating and maintaining large databases using various functions such as VBA, INDEX/MATCH, VLOOKUP, pivot tables etc
    • Minimum 2 years working in retail, print or distribution sectors, strong understanding of supply chain management & logistics coordination essential
    • Used to prioritizing work day, handling multiple projects within tight time frames
    • Client facing role, must be proficient communicating in a clear & friendly manner
    • Willing & able to travel to the USA for project support (2-3 times per year, approx. 4 weeks at a time)
