  • Overview

    We are looking for an experienced Operations Director to join our team in North America. This person will partner closely with our Managing Director to ensure operational excellence across all of our disciplines. This Operations Director will also work with a regionally deployed, global team that is responsible for delivering transformation and improvement projects across HWW’s production platform.


    Working closely with HWW’s Global Production Organization, our US Managing Director; and other key stakeholders, the Operations Director will provide local focus for change and implementation activities in relation to our global production organisation strategy as well as key in-market initatives


    • Define & Maintain Operational definitions of KPIs
    • Tactically deploy and maintain the localized aspects of the operational standardization, consolidation and improvement elements of HWW’s production platform strategy
    • Provide a local focal point for the controlled and efficient planning and transition (setup phase) of work to HWW’s production hubs, as well as provide ongoing support / course correction as an independent intermediary between local client servicing and global production
    • Support the global practice councils to deliver their agenda, including refining and deploying best practice processes, tech functionality and adoption across their defined production area
    • Provide a governance and support counter-balance to local production operations
    • to ensure all stakeholders have the data, tools, direction and access to expertise to continually optimize their operations
    • Audit, maintain and deploy CAPA activity at your local site and global practice level
    • Directly intervene and manage the recovery plan whenever business critical risks are identified
    • Operate under a standardized set of tools for process improvement and project management
    • Produce and circulate periodic KPI and project reports as required
    • Collaborate seamlessly across the Operations Excellence team to deploy both local and global
    • initiatives in a controlled and efficient manner
    • Build strong, trusting relationships with key stakeholders across the business


    • Minimum of 8 years of related experience within an international studio production environment
    • Strong understanding of marketing and communication implementation processes across all key
    • Channels
    • Certification in Six Sigma, Lean or other forms of continuous improvement methodology preferred
    • Demonstrated experience of leveraging data, process and change excellence in driving
    • improvement within a studio production environment
    • Stakeholder management experience in driving change and governance through cross-functional
    • teams
    • Demonstrated experience of successfully working within a virtual team environment
    • Strong interpersonal and management skill set to influence the direction and attainment of project
    • objectives without line management of resources
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and relationships cross functionally
    • Strong background in training and change management
    • Experience with complex decision and planning processes
    • Project Management expertise working under a defined framework (e.g PMI or PMBOK)
    • Practical experience with DMAIC or similar quality improvement framework
    • Familiar with Lean & ToC process improvement toolset
    • Ability to conduct presentations comfortably to large groups
    • Effective communicator
    • Commercially focused with a passion for delivering and exceeding results
    • Can do attitude and an ability to work under pressure
    • The ability to thrive in an ever changing and dynamic work environment
