We are establishing Hogarth as the global WPP production platform and building a delivery model that can work as the service partner to the entire global WPP network while continuing to grow direct client relationships. This reflects multiple new business opportunities significantly increasing the scope, global footprint and complexity of the challenges we face.


    We are looking for a Technical Lead specialised in Front-end Technologies, Veeva multichannel CRM, and SaaS to lead our development team for our new Chennai operation in India. The Chennai operation will be a strategically important large-scale production hub that services all of our global hubs.


    The Role:

    As a Technical Lead, you will be leading development teams working on implementing multichannel Veeva solutions like Veeva CRM, Veeva CLM, Approved Emails, and MyInsights.


    Skills required:

    • Solid understanding of front-end development with HTML, JavaScript, CSS
    • Able to work / Experience with various Node.js templating / pre-processors console applications, such as: npm, gulp, Typescript, Jade / .pug, .style, CoffeeScript, SASS/SCSS etc
    • Good knowledge of JavaScript and various JS libraries, min. JQuery. Solid understanding of JS objects, asynchronous functions, event listeners etc
    • Able to understand and manage SPAs
    • Basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign – enough to extract design elements for the front-end development. Adobe Photoshop optional / a plus
    • Ability to collaborate with other team members via repositories (Git) and ticketing tools (Jira)
    • Good communication skills. Minimum good English language
    • Ability to learn and adapt, willing to go an extra mile to keep the pace with technology
    • Knowledge of Veeva and Salesforce; knowledge of Agnitio is a plus
    • Veeva or similar platform certification is a plus
    • Ability to critique master code written by other agencies and troubleshoot code
    • Discipline in work.
    • High attention to detail

    • Has managed a team of 5 or more developers as a technical leader
    • Proactively thinks of solutions and efficiencies for projects and clients
    • Has experience in working with offsite offices and global development and QA teams
    • Has strong verbal communication and written documentation skills
    • Familiar with multiple development methodologies and develops and owns the SDLC and is responsible for managing technical risks and issues throughout the project
    • Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients
    • Easily recognises system deficiencies and implements effective solutions
    • Suggests alternative technical solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently, and/or with greater reusability, and / or longer life
    • Identifies reusable code required for our code library and ensures the high quality creation of the code, also looks at ways to automate towards driving efficiency
    • Defines, communicates and enforces coding standards
    • Assists in sales and proposal efforts from a technical perspective
    • Promotes and coordinates technical knowledge harvesting within the organization 
    • Tracks and identifies new opportunities to improve our tools, processes and methodologies
