  • Overview

    We are looking for an Implementation Director for our new Chennai operation in India. The Chennai operation will be a strategically important large-scale production hub that services all of our global hubs.

    Responsibilities

     

    Working closely with HWW’s global leads and key stakeholders, the Implementation Director will be a conduit for all transitions and implementations between the global studios and Chennai Global Delivery Centre. The candidate will be adept at reacting quickly to changing needs and will have direct experience working across print, digital, broadcast and client service teams. The chosen candidate will report into the Chennai Managing Director, and will work closely with the Global Production Optimisation Team & Service Line Delivery Heads in Chennai and across regions. 


    Key Areas of Responsibilities

    • Build strong relationships across regions & teams, and obtain clear understanding of the scope of transition
    • Develop in-depth knowledge of the internal set up of the service line/client and make sure all plans are in place to maximise Chennai GDC’s support to the/service line
    • Solid understanding of managing global implementations across all services and regions and clients
    • Maintain overnight/governance in the usage of transition framework and tools in line with Hogarth’s best practice methodologies
    • Identify best practices across service lines and ensure that plans are in place for the implementation of these in Chennai GDC
    • Be the main escalation point in Chennai during the transition phase for the global leads and ensure swift and effective resolutions are actioned
    • Ensure the development and delivery of all training during the transition phase are to plan
    • Support your assigned global practice council to deliver their agenda, including refining and deploying best practice processes, tech functionality and adoption across their defined production area
    • Directly intervene and manage the recovery plan whenever business critical risks are identified during the implementation phase
    • Collaborate with Process Owners, Global Production Councils, Global Production Optimization team and other key stakeholders to brainstorm and prioritize opportunities for process improvement that maximizes efficiency and quality output
    • Lead, implement and control global and regional process standardization programs using appropriate lean tools & project management methodologies
    • Identify & enable automation to minimize manual intervention
    • Perform process compliance audits and quality audits
    • Implement and manage Quality Management System
    • Own & manage incidents and CAPA for Chennai
    • Coach and train operations on lean concepts and methodologies

     

    Qualifications

      • Masters degree in Business Administration or equivalent
      • Certification in Six Sigma, Lean or other form of continuous improvement methodology preferred
      • Related experience within an international studio production environment
      • Strong understanding of print, broadcast and digital production processes and best practices
      • Experience in implementing plans for transitioning work across sites
      • Proven history working with multinational and multi-functional teams and clients
      • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in English
      • A hands-on, can-do approach to solving problems
      • Ideally 15 years of experience, gained in advertising/creative/media production
      • A proven history of working across different markets, time zones and cultures
      • Must be able to travel as required
      • Strong understanding of marketing and communication implementation processes across all key channels
      • Stakeholder management experience in driving change and governance through cross-functional teams
      • Demonstrated experience of successfully working within a virtual team environment
      • Strong interpersonal and management skill set to influence the direction and attainment of project objectives without line management of resources
      • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and relationships cross functionally
      • Commercially focused with a passion for delivering and exceeding results
