  • Overview

    We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager for our new Chennai operation in India. The Chennai operation will be a strategically important large-scale production hub that services all of our global hubs.

    Responsibilities

    The Role:

    • Shift Quality Assurance Production planning in close liaison with the Project Manager
    • Implement & manage Quality Management System
    • Possess strong knowledge of understanding of all activities within the team
    • Assuming responsibility for ensuring that all jobs are completed within the agreed timeframe and SLA’s
    • Periodical reports to understand the team’s performance
    • Planning team capacity to handle spikes in demanz
    • Being involved in the recruitment, selection and training of team staff
    • Appreciation, adherence and enforcement of Hogarth key policies & processes
    • Demonstrate clear understanding of brands & their guidelines
    • Communicate with all stakeholders articulately, sharing and documenting any issues or knowledge to ensure consistency
    • Demonstrate good artwork judgement when giving direction or problem solving
    • Monitoring and measuring the team’s performance against KPIs and SLAs and driving resolutions
    • Liaising with production team and project managers to ensure consistency and quality across materials

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Management degree in Printing Technology or equivalent
    • Ten years experience in an advertising agency, publishing or design studio
    • Competent in key Creative Suite programs (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task, and a flexible, logical and proactive approach
    • Good analytical and numerical skills
    • Calm, Professional, positive and good-humored personality
    • Exceptional eye for detail
    • Ability to proofread and mark-up on screen
    • Extensive knowledge of print production and print ready artwork
    • Lean Six Sigma Certification would be an added advantage
