  • Overview

    The Data Analyst is responsible for the success of the Hogarth Data Platform, working within the product team and along side professional services, operations and engineering teams to identify business goals, break down into manageable requirements and manage those through implementation.

     

    • Understand and communicate the overall vision of the Hogarth Data Platform. Understand and translate the business needs directly, knowing exactly what the product is today, what it will (and won’t) be in future.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Work with diverse stakeholder groups to obtain requirements for Hogarth Data Platform and implement appropriate solutions
    • Manage the backlog, plan and work with other team members to deliver on time, every time
    • Work with the management team to establish effective communications about enhancements and improvements as well as incident definitions
    • Organise and run regular strategic workshops with the stakeholders to maintain a productive working relationship, to establish opportunities for evolution of the Hogarth Data Platform and to maintain understanding of board sponsored priorities and directives

    The main responsibilities for the Data Analyst are:

     

    ·      Architect solutions and integrate new services to Hogarth Data Platform

    ·      Optimise Hogarth Data Platform

    ·      Support existing reporting capabilities

    ·      Build extract, transform and load (ETL) scripts using Python

    ·      Build reporting database using SQL

    ·      Manage Microsoft Azure Resource Group (cloud)

    ·      Design and create standard report templates on Microsoft PowerBI

    ·      Use Powerquery M and DAX for advanced analytics on Microsoft PowerBI

    ·      Rollout reporting to teams globally

    ·      Requirements gathering from key stakeholders

    ·      Training teams on using reporting tools

     

     

    Essential technical skills:

     

    ·      Agile (Scrum, ScrumBan)

    ·      PowerBI including DAX and Power query M coding

    ·      Technologies:

    ·      Python

    ·      SQL

    ·      Microsoft Azure

    ·      Javascript

    ·      ETL

    ·      Strong knowledge of how to navigate APIs

     

    Must haves:

     

    • Bachelors degree in business or computing or equivalent experience required
    • Understanding of the marketing and media industries (desirable)
    • Thirst to learn new things
    • Excellent leadership skills
    • Ability to inspire and influence
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent problem solving skills
