    Responsibilities

    The role of the Campaign Developer Lead is to ensure global digital campaign delivery is achieved through the highest standard working with all clients.

    Mentoring and providing delivery excellence is key to the role and the Campaign Developer Lead must ensure all development teams are working with the same best practice standards globally.

    This includes inhouse and offshore briefing best practice standards and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors in order to deliver projects according to plan. Working closely with the digital teams internally and being confident to guide the creative and media agencies as well as ensuring all 3rd parties are aligned on the scopes of work, roles & responsibilities, test plans/road maps, timelines, project risks and the end goal.

    Having a strong understanding of Dynamic Creative Optimisation (DCO) within the dynamic templates to balance creative strategy/ideas and media requirements to be able to recalibrate in real time against the optimisation plan is mandatory and the Campaign Project Lead must ensure team members are being trained to deliver these projects.

    The successful candidate will need to work closely with all digital departments within the practice. This means that they will need to be able to communicate intelligently and effectively with Creative, Technical, Account Management and Senior Leaders. As such, must have good written, verbal presentation and communication skills.

    • Lead by example and demonstrate a global best practice for digital campaign delivery
    • Experienced delivering digital display campaigns (HTML5, Dynamic, served programmatically with DCO management)
    • A strong understanding of all display and programmatic best practices
    • Being about to bridge the gap between media and creative with delivery being the core of what needs to be done
    • Needs strong attention to detail
    • Work collaboratively with different teams and understand their goals, as this reflects in the decisions they make
    • Manage and optimise internal and 3rdparty workflows
    • Clear communication between multiple stakeholders (inc internal, external, agency partners)
    • Confident to make decisions and be able to apply previous optimisation learning
    • Have an understanding of programmatic media buys (not essential but nice to have)
    • Be an internal source of expertise in the DCO / programmatic field and respond swiftly and concisely to any questions or queries
    • Emphasis on best practice development techniques
    • Support and mentor team members – this will include line management of team members
    • The escalation person of all team members you’re managing
    • Administrations and timesheet completion to be impeccable – leading by example
    • Be the lead and pioneer of how process and digital campaign projects should be delivered
    • Attend internal meetings as a representative of the Digital production team as and when required
    • Ensure you have considerable experience delivering from start to finish digital campaigns
    • Ensuring documentation and intranet is managed and up to date at all times
    • Ensuring there is a collaboration approach with the other team leads to achieve global excellence
    • Reporting to the Digital Global Advertising Director

    Qualifications

    Must have proven experience of the following competencies:

    • Scope Management: The ability to control the work included in a project, ensuring that all the work that has been scoped and budgeted can be delivered
    • Time Management: The ability to ensure timely completion of projects
    • Cost Management: The ability to plan, estimate and control costs so that the project can be completed within the approved budget. This includes resource planning
    • Quality Management: The ability to ensure that project delivery meets the quality requirements
    • Human Resource Management: The ability to manage project teams; this includes aligning on project objectives and goals, defining roles in the project and assigning project team members to those roles
    • Communications Management: The ability to link people (including team members and stakeholders), ideas, and information throughout a project life cycle
    • Risk Management: The ability to identify, analyse, and properly respond to project risks (opportunities and threats)
    • Client Servicing: The ability to manage client needs through the whole of a project lifecycle
    • Stress Management: The ability to remain calm and keep a reassuring presence in pressurised situations
    • Can Do Attitude:  A positive 'can do' solution focused mentality
    • Organisation: The ability to juggle a varied workload and to prioritise ones time effectively
    • 5+ Years Project Management Experience
    • Experience of working in (preferably large) digital agencies on large global accounts
    • Demonstrable experience in managing the production and distribution of digital marketing campaigns
    • Strong knowledge of Ad Platforms (Experience with DoubleClick, Sizmek, Flashtalking) and Execution Lists/Media Plans
    • Passion for and understanding of internet technologies is as must
    • Test Management & Execution – Understanding of QA practices
