    Role summary:

     

    We are seeking both experienced Full Time and Contract Quality Assurance Testers to test updates to our client's .com page and other interactive deliverable, through manual and automated testing. You will be working onsite with us at one of the world's leading tech companies. Primary responsibilities include writing and executing test plans, updating test reports, writing bug defects, verifying fixes, and testing pages and emails on supported environments.

    Responsibilities

    • Execute test cases (manual or automated) across multiple platforms
    • Certify pre-released pages and web applications against a list of internal standards 
    • Write detailed and easy to understand bug reports
    • Test and verify bug fixes
    • Own communication with Development, Producers and Graphic Production 
    • Work with cross functional teams to collaborate and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
    • Evaluate HTML and CSS code changes to determine an appropriate test strategy
    • Communicate risk to leads and production managers as needed
    • Collaborate with developers to develop effective strategies and test plans
    • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
    • When necessary write test cases in conjunction with the team lead 

    Qualifications

    • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
    • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines are essential to success
    • Ability to pick up new responsibilities quickly
    • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
    • Extensive knowledge of front-end web testing and automation  
    • Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
    • Ability to clearly document and troubleshoot errors
    • Experience with the Agile methodology and regression testing a plus
    • Experience working with Git
    • Understand how to test plan and write test cases
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Solid understanding of browser variations and rendering engines
    • Familiarity testing on OS X, iOS, Windows and Android
    • Experience working on large-scale websites is a plus
    • 4+ years of working as a Quality Assurance professional or web developer
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
