  • Overview

    The Digital Consultant (Pre-Sales/New Business) will play a vital role in building Hogarth’s global digital footprint, supporting business development and pre-sales activities for both new and existing global digital clients.

    As part of your role you will engage directly with clients during the digital sales cycle, carrying out the following activities:

    • identifying new and organic sales opportunities
    • promoting and selling Hogarth’s core suite of digital services
    • providing technical guidance and developing appropriate technical solutions
    • managing and delivering digital RFPs/RFIs
    • writing and delivering new business pitches and client proposals.

    Although not directly responsible for lead generation, you will support the account teams globally to grow Hogarth’s digital business.

    You will be exposed to all areas of our digital business, working directly with the Head of Global Digital Consultancy, the Business Leads and Account Management in Hogarth offices worldwide.

    Business Development

    • Generate sales collateral to support digital sales activity, including credentials decks, case studies, new product presentations and client testimonials
    • Support Account Management outside of the UK in the delivery of presentations when required


    • Be the co-owner of all digital RfI and RfP responses
    • Work with the rest of the team to agree ‘best-fit’ pitch teams and support the creation of pitch proposals and presentations
    • Provide technical proposals and solutions to clients, based on Hogarth’s current digital capabilities and services
    • Ensure that all RfPs / RfIs / pitches are delivered on time and to the highest standards of quality
    • Support the transition from sales to service delivery teams by managing the process, passing on all relevant information gathered during the sales cycle
    • Provide regular feedback to the Head of Global Digital Consultancy on key New Business statistics (new / organic leads, RfPs, RfIs, client meetings, pitches, etc.) for reporting to the CDO

    Desired Skills and Experience


    The successful candidate will be able to Understand a client requirement, Define a potential solution, and Present this back to the client.

    • Understand: A requirement may be presented in formal tender documents, in a client meeting, or by another member of Hogarth’s team. You will be able to identify key information on the requirement, establishing what the client is aiming to achieve and the outputs they expect from Hogarth. You will have a keen eye for detail and an ability to infer requirements that are not explicitly stated.
    • Define: You will be comfortable working with other members of the digital team, developing a proposed solution with input from other areas of the business. You will be able to use your understanding of the client’s business needs to guide internal resources as they assist you in answering the stated requirements.
    • Present: You will have excellent written and spoken English and the ability to concisely describe a proposed solution and its benefits within a formal documented response. You will have the confidence to present a solution in client meetings and you will have sufficient knowledge to answer questions clearly and professionally.


    The successful candidate will possess ‘transferable skills’ that they will use in their daily work, particularly written and spoken presentation. Being able to demonstrate an ability to rapidly research and understand new and novel topics is of considerable benefit.
