    Responsibilities

    We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to test updates to our client’s website and other interactive deliverables.  The primary responsibilities include executing test plans, updating test reports, writing bug defects, verifying fixes, and testing pages and emails on supported environments.

    • Execute testing efforts for a number of concurrent projects across multiple platforms
    • Certify pre-released pages and web applications against a list of internal standards
    • Write detailed and easy to understand bug reports
    • Test and verify bug fixes
    • Evaluate HTML and CSS code changes to determine an appropriate test strategy
    • Communicate risk to leads and senior testers as needed

    Qualifications

     

    • Extensive knowledge of front-end web testing
    • Understanding of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
    • Proven bug writing ability
    • Experience working with Git
    • Understand how to test plan and write test cases
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Solid understanding of browser variations and rendering engines
    • Familiarity testing on OS X, iOS, Windows and Android
    • Experience working on large-scale websites is a plus
    • 4+ years of working as a Quality Assurance professional or web developer
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
    • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines are essential to success
    • Ability to pick up new responsibilities quickly
