  • Overview

    We are looking for a saisoned Digital Business Director with througough technical experience for on of our clients in the food and health care industry.

    The ideal candidate will have in-depth digital experience across the digital landscape, managing large website projects, ecommerce engagements and apps and will need to hit the ground running.  Working closely with the senior management team, they will be required to build key client stakeholder relationships, offer strategic guidance and continue to develop the account.

    The successful candidate should have a proven track record within account handling, identifying and closing new opportunities as well as a clear understanding of the digital landscape, technical requirements and technologies.  They will be required to have a good understanding of industry best practice and demonstrate strong commercial acumen, people management and project delivery skills. Experience influencing and directing multi-site teams and multiple client stakeholders would be advantageous.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the strategic relationship management, service development and accelerated  growth of two of our high potential clients
    • Identify new business opportunities and ways of deepending and expanding the client relationship. Lead new business pitches within Digital.
    • Co-ordinate regular client reviews to measure performance vs objectives
    • Solid experience working on global web projects including CMS and eCommerce, mobile apps
    • Experience working with creative agencies
    • Experience working with UX teams and Digital PMs
    • A proven track record in production across large scale roll-outs
    • Multi language site adaptation experience
    • Confident in demonstrating their credible technical knowledge in client meetings
    • A strong understanding of full web project life cycle, brief, development, testing and roll out
    • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
    • Strong client facing aptitude for managing client requirements and expectations
    • Experience in partnering with specialist Digital Project Managers to deliver results
    • Good understanding of the technical development process (front and back-end/ mobile)
    • Good interpersonal and collaborative skills
    • Comfortable working within an ever changing environment in a rapidly growing company
    • Commercial acumen, forecasting abilities and the ability to grow the business

    Qualifications

    • Proven global team leadership capability
    • Successful experience in a complex, multi country consultancy sales environment
    • Well honed commercial skills and experience of full P&L accountability
    • Solid experience managing global clients in multiple markets with multiple stakeholders
    • Demonstrable track record identifying and closing  new business opportunities
    • Entrepreneurial bias; seasoned negotiator
    • Relevant industry experience including working with Print, TV and Digital Campaigns an advantage
    • Quality and delivery focused.
    • Self initiating, adaptable, team orientation, conflict resolver, change agent
